I am a senior psychologist that has been practising for over 14 years. My practice was based in Cape Town, South Africa, from 2008 until the end of 2019, as I moved to Sydney, Australia. I now practice exclusively online, with an international client base.

I studied at both Stellenbosch University and the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, where I completed my undergraduate degree and went on to achieve my honours and masters degrees in counselling psychology. During my postgraduate studies, I had the privilege of working with all the developmental stages ranging from children to teenagers, to adults and to the geriatric population. The type of work also ranged from behavioural and academic assessments for children, to relationship counselling, depression and anxiety work, psychiatric illnesses in private clinics and geriatric counselling in homes for the elderly. This allowed for a very holistic and integrated training path which I strongly value to this day.

I have a passion for working with adults from diverse cultures and backgrounds as I learn so much from them. My goal is to help them fully understand their way of thinking, feeling and behaving, increase their empathy and reduce their self-judgement in order to empower themselves to create the necessary changes.
